The Tavern Arcade is a solo passion project that is inspired by classic 2000's browser game portal websites and retro games.
What you'll find on the shelves
- Action platformers — 16-bit-inspired run-and-gun titles like Super Stuber, an eight-stage boss rush with wall climbs and charge shots.
- Survivor roguelites — short runs and deep upgrade trees in Ashelon's Survivors, Vanguard Survivors and Starblaze Survivors.
- Sandbox survival — Voxel Frontier, a procedurally generated mining-and-building world with skills, dungeons and shared online play.
- Arcade score chasers — one-more-go cabinets like Chicken Long Surfing, Astro Hop and Galaxanoids.
- VR and WebXR — headset-native experiments playable in the browser on standalone hardware.
- Online multiplayer — live lobbies in Creature Survivors, Tristran and Wobblerz.
Desktop, mobile and headset
Use the tabs above to filter the library by platform. Desktop games expect a keyboard or gamepad; mobile games are built for touch; VR titles load in a WebXR-capable browser on your headset. Many titles appear on more than one shelf because they support all of it.
How the arcade stays free
Hosting, domains and multiplayer servers cost money, and we would rather that come from advertising than from your wallet. Your data stays yours
Your name, avatar, theme and settings live in your own browser's storage and never leave your device unless you post a score. There are no accounts to hack and no mailing list to leak. Clear your browser data and every trace of your visit is gone.
